The World's Strangest Theme Hotels: A drain pipe

Why stay in a boring business hotel when there are far more entertaining options out there? At home and abroad, there are some superb novelty options for those who like a bit of character in their accommodation.

What:
Dasparkhotel has a prime setting, in the middle of a park by the River Danube in Linz, Austria. However, that's as close to five star luxury as it gets. It consists of three big concrete drainpipes, each of which has had a double bed rammed into it. Blankets, storage space and a power point are also provided, whilst other amenities can be found in the surrounding park.

Cost:
Guests are encouraged to leave a donation equivalent to what they think the night's accommodation was worth.
