Average temperature for the ABCs year-round is a perfect 82°F (28°C). High noon is a bit warmer and at night it can get breezy, but mostly you'll be fine in shorts and a T-shirt. The islands are fairly dry, averaging a little over 1in (2.5cm) of rain per month. Much of this falls from September to early December. The islands usually avoid the Caribbean hurricane season, although in 2004 the tail of Ivan churned up beaches and damaged trees, and 1999's Lenny was unkind to some offshore reefs.
