Overview

January and February are the coolest months, when the daily high temperature averages 27°C (81°F), while the nightly low drops to 22°C (72°F). In July and August, the hottest months, the high averages 30°C (86°F), the low 25°C (77°F). The islands are relatively dry, averaging about 45in (1150mm) of rain annually. The rainiest months are late August to November, when measurable precipitation occurs on average eight days each month. February to April is the driest period, with an average of just three rainy days each month.
