The world's greatest views
People will hike miles uphill for it, take perilous cable cars for it, even pay money for it - because nothing beats a great view. Britons recently voted in a survey to find the coolest view in the world. So sit back and relax as we bring you the top 10.
10. Angel Falls, Venezuela
At over 3,000 feet, Angel Falls, in Canaima National Park, Venezuela, is the highest free-falling waterfall in the world. Named after the American aviator who 'discovered' the falls in 1937, Angel Falls is now one of Venezuelas top tourist attractions. There are several ways to see the falls, though a visit is not easy due to its remote location and rather depends on several factors, from personal budget to cloud cover. An aerial fly-by is available, though the hardiest trekkers prefer to hike up river than through the jungle to bring them to the bottom of the falls.
