The Tower of London

1. The Tower of London, England
With a bloody 900-year history of torture, executions and death, the Tower of London has a well-deserved reputation as one of the most haunted places in Britain.

Said to be frequented by many distinguished tortured souls, including spectres of the Little Princes, Queen Anne Boleyn, Lady Jane Grey and Guy Fawkes, the Tower still sends a shiver down the spine of visitors. Spirits, including the strange form of a white bear are often seen by the resident Beefeater guards.
