Hood Island
Colonies of playful sea lions engulf the sandy beaches on this island, also famous for its blow hole - a lava tube sending spurts of water blasting into the air like a geyser. Inland, look out for iguanas changing their colours and the cheeky mockingbirds, known to peck at your shoelaces.
