10. Berck Plage - Berck sur Mer, northern France

This vast expanse of sand and dunes covered in wild flowers and marram grass is the perfect place for a quick strip from the UK.

It's a glorious spot to get away from it all, with some interesting World War II fortifications to explore. It's an official nude beach with a car park, bar, restaurant and shop. Simply drive or cycle north from Berck sur Mer towards Bellvue and the car park is just past the thalassotherapy hospital. The nude area is to the right as you face the sea.
