Dorset

Discover dinosaurs and swing through the trees like Tarzan on the Jurassic coast.

Watch dinosaurs come alive (not literally) at Dorchester's Dinosaur Museum with to multimedia displays and life-sized reconstructions of dinosaurs with fossils and skeletons.

Take to the trees like Tarzan for an exhilarating high wire experience at Go Ape, zipping down slides 40 feet above the forest floor – the kids will love it.

Younger ones will love Farmer Palmer's Farm Park, where there are lots of hands-on activities and milking demonstrations. Abbotsbury, too, has a wonderful children's farm plus the only colony of nesting mute swans open to the public in the world and sub tropical gardens.
