Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, hasn't stopped travelling the globe since she married her prince. Things may need to slow down a bit for a while (at least until that pesky pregnancy sickness abates) but it doesn't mean that all those lovely pampering holidays are off the agenda - far from it, in fact.
These days, "babymoons" - pampering holidays for pregnant couples - are all the rage. From spa breaks to gourmet retreats, it's practically the law for couples to make the most of their time before their little bundles of joy arrive. So just in case their royal highnesses are stuck for ideas, we've picked ten top-notch mini-breaks in the UK and Ireland, perfect for pregnant princesses who fancy a staycation for a change...

- The K Club, Kildare<p> One of the poshest hotels in Ireland, the K club is renown for its host of awards for everything from gourmet food, top-notch accommodation and leisure facilities. A whole host of spa treatments for pregnant women are offered, and the best news is that there's an award-winning golf course too - perfect to keep princes happy when their princesses are being pampered.</p>
- Careys Manor, New Forest<p> With a range of specially tailored pregnancy treatments at the <a href="http://www.careysmanor.com/pregnancy.html" target="_blank">Senspa</a>, this lovely hideaway in the New Forest offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle and the chance to completely relax. A proper country house with a romantic atmosphere, there's plenty for couples to enjoy, from relaxing by the gorgeous pool to walking in the countryside. - The Baglioni, London<p> Part of a luxurious Italian group, the Baglioni on Hyde Park Gate in Kensington offers two-night pre-birth packages, including in-room check-in accompanied by fruity drinks, a gift and one-hour in-room massage for the mum-to-be, and 10 per cent discounts in the hotel's restaurants and in La Perla boutique nearby. Guests also get a special consultation on baby meals and recipes with the hotel chefs.</p>
- Rowton Hall, Chester<p> This exclusive Georgian country house hotel has everything a princess could want, right down to the croquet lawn and helicopter landing pad. The spa offers a range of pampering options, including a Rose Hydrating Cocoon, and a pregnancy Leg and Foot Refresher for tired legs. Spa treatment prices start at £30.</p>
- Yoga Jeannie retreats, East Sussex<p> Yoga Jeannie (www.yogajeannie.com) uses historic houses including Tilton House in East Sussex (pictured), as peaceful retreats. Instructor Jean Hall hosts the weekends, which include seven yoga classes over three days, allowing mums-to-be to fully immerse themselves in her yoga techniques.</p>
