Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay returned from a night at Spice nightclub in Ibiza to find that his villa had been broken into and thousands of pounds in cash, along with a Rolex watch which belonged to his security man, had been stolen.
The Daily Mail reports that the burglary happened just hours after Jay Kay arrived on the island for a ten-day break.
He was staying in a remote villa at the end of a dirt track, located between the popular resorts of Cala Carbo and Cala Vadella.
He later discovered that the £12,000-a-week mountain-top villa had already been targeted by thieves three times.
Although police were called, the singer didn't make a formal complaint as a source told the Daily Mail that he didn't want the publicity of a full-scale investigation.
A spokesman for Jay Kay told the Mail on Sunday: "Jay had a pretty unpleasant experience. When we booked the villa they didn't tell us that they had previously been robbed. We wish they had, as Jay would have been more vigilant."
