Got £100k? Stunning UK beach up for saleBNPS

Life could, quite literally, be a beach every day with this prime stretch of sand that is going up for auction in Dorset.

The pretty cove, situated near Weymouth, over looks Portland Harbour, and comes with a refreshment kiosk and the potential to put up eight beach huts.

There could even be the possibility of getting a glimpse of the Olympic sailing event.

But, you might have to share it; while the beach is privately-owned, the law says that members of the public must be allowed to use it.

Rob Marchant, an auctioneer for Clive Emson auctions, told the Daily Mail: "It's not every day a beach is in our catalogue.

"Whoever buys the beach will have an obligation to stay open to the public. These days you can't just turn public beaches into private ones.

"Castle Cove Beach may well be a lovely location to watch the Olympic sailing events, perhaps with the benefit of binoculars as well."

The auction takes place at the Hampshire Cricket Ground on 26 July, and the cove has a guide price of £65,000 to £75,000, but a keen interest in it is likely to push the numbers up.
