First class finery! Mel B boards plane in ball gown

We know first class is a bit posh, but is it really necessary to board it in black tie?
Mel B tweeted pics of herself doing just that this weekend. But, to be fair, she had just come off stage filming for Dancing With the Stars in Australia - and didn't have time to change.
She boarded her Emirates flight in a striking one-shouldered scarlet gown, with her hair scraped up in an elegant bun, and her face fully made up for the camera.

The Twitter pics were accompanied by the quip: "Safely made it on our flight, gown and all!"
And Mel, along with her husband Stephen Belafonte, were certainly travelling in style; they each had their own personal suite to park themselves - and their Louis Vuitton luggage - where they could enjoy the luxury beds, wine and entertainment systems.

They'll be doing exactly the same thing next week when Mel returns to the UK to appear as a guest judge at the Manchester auditions of The X Factor - but maybe she'll leave the ball gown at home this time...
