A businessman and 15 of his golfing friends had their noses put out of joint after being moved out of their hotel - so that Manchester United players could relax there before the derby with Manchester City.
According to The Sun, Dominic Warne had booked the four-star Vale Resort in Cardiff as far back as five months ago, and was only given 48 hours notice that Wayne Rooney and his team would be staying there instead.
Dominic and his group were among three parties of people who were switched to a hotel four miles away.
He said: "All reservations other than a wedding were bumped."
But the resort's sales and marketing manager Paul Beddoe insisted the groups had sufficient customer service, saying: "We have provided oodles of compensation for any disruption."
