The Northern Lights are on most people's must-see list, but how many of us have considered seeing the Southern Lights?
This glorious pink-and-orange display of the Aurora Australis shows the southern hemisphere's equivalent of Aurora Borealis. The Milky Way can be seen drifting across the sky, with mesmerising pulses of red, yellow and orange and you'll find yourself wanting to book the next flight to the other side of the world.
The video was captured in stunning timelapse near Melbourne, Australia by photographer Alex Cherney, who chased the natural phenomenon for more than two years before he could capture them in their full glory....
